Privacy notice for the request forms (draft, 4 November 2026)
This notice is about the gear request form and the gear listing form on vouchrental.com. It is a draft while our lawyer reviews it.
Who we are

What we collect
What you type into the form: the gear you need or own, your dates, pickup or delivery, your area, a budget or rough value, your name, your phone number and whether it's on WhatsApp, your email if you give it, how you heard about us and any notes. We also keep a scrambled version of your IP address, which can't be turned back into the address, to stop spam.
Why
To reply to your request or application and to arrange a rental or a listing. We don't use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
Who sees it
- Vouch staff and our city ambassador.
- When we look for gear, owners see only what you need, the dates and your area. They don't see your phone number or email until a booking is agreed.
- The companies that host and send this data for us: Vercel, Supabase, Resend and Cloudflare. Some of them store data outside Nigeria.
How long we keep it
Requests that don't become a rental are deleted after 12 months. Completed rentals are kept as the rental terms describe.
Your rights
Email [email protected] to see, correct or delete your information.
What we don't collect here
No ID, no selfie, no bank or card details. We'll never ask for them on these forms.
